WHAT'S HAPPENING IN OUR WORLD??? |
Khan do Kwan Recognized Officially in the Kingdom of Bahrain On the 23rd of February 2006, history was made and Khan Do Kwan was demonstrated for the 1st time in the world to the BMAA (Bahrain Martial Arts Association) officials, which is the official Bahrani Government Body that controls all martial arts in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Presiding this was H.E. Shaikh Khalid Bin Isa Al Khalifa from the Bahranian Royal Family.Before the demo started everyone thought that Khan Do Kwan might be just another martial art similar to Karate or Taekwondo (a lot of people who havent seen it still think that to be so). The people i.e. BMAA officialls and several martial artists from many other disciplines of martial arts had come to watch the demo. Below are some pictures from that demo. Khan's Student Wins Big at AAU Nationals in Florida
T. J. Craig won 2 bronze medals (forms and Fighting)at the AAU National Championships in Florida. He is currently training for the AAU Junior Olympics to be held in August.
