THIS IS WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT US

John T. Mayes
Correction Officer
Wabash Valley Correctional Facility
Indiana - USA

I have had the privilege of studying with Master Javed Khan for over 30 days now. Within that short time I have been extremely impressed with his development of Khan Do Kwan.

I was a student of Shotokan at one time. I also studied Ryukyu Kempo. It has been my experience that while these disciplines have much to impart to a student they are not practical in street fighting situations.

I currently work in a maximum security correctional facility. After an altercation with one of the prisioners I realized that the knowledge I had was very limited and not useful. There is no such thing as a 'FIAR FIGHT'; especially, in the correction/law enforcement setting. It was at this point that I decided to attend one of Master Khan's classes. I knew that he was a law enforcement officer. As such, I was hoping that his style would be influenced by his experiences in law enforcement. I was not to be disapointed.

Khan Do Kwan techniques are extremely practical and useful in real life. The techniques cover direct attacks, knife defenses & ground fighting techniques. You train for real life situations. The techniques are simple and not complicated making them much more applicable to 'muscle memory'. However they are also most effective. The techniques enable one not only to defend himself but also render the offender totally incapacitated. Not to be overlooked is the resulting physical fitness that begins to shape & mold our bodies as well as our mind.

At the same time, self discipline and self-control are emphasized. We are taught fighting is not the answer to every situation. Our mind is our best defense.

It has been an honor to study under such a knowledgeable instructor.

Thankyou
John T. Mayes
Indiana State Corrections Officer.

Dear Master Khan,

Just a brief note to say thank-you for your Model of Excellence you have demonstrated by example in your leadership in helping students study Martial Arts, namely Tae Kwon Do in the Midwestern States of Indiana, USA.
Your Compassion, Focus, Forcefulness, Understanding and Assistance in Building of Character in ones seeking of their own Personal Development, have certainly had a massive impact on your Students, the surrounding community, and beyond. Thank you for that.

The most impact felt, within our family has been in the past 18 Months with our Daughter. Tori, has gone through Tremendous Personal Development and Advancement of Character, Building of Respect within Herself, Friends and Peers and as well has had an incredible amount of enthusiasm to contribute to her everyday life. While one advances and grows up, it would appear that Personal Advancement is a natural evolution, however it cannot help be observed that her Study with you, as her Master and Instructor in Tae Kwon Do must have certainly magnified and advanced her skills, thereby affecting her Personal and Family Life in Making this world a better place.

In closing, thank-you again for your contribution to Our Family, Our Community and as well all the People that surround us.
One memory serves me quite well. About 13 years ago a friend of mine was given the opportunity to practice and study Martial Arts. His main statement was that the Success in studying Martial Arts lies in the participant of the Student. For a Student that can join your organization now and learn such excellence from your expertise, whether Young or Old, can provide a Model for Excellence that must not only enhance their own Personal development and advancement of today’s society, but also receive with open arms the calmness and sanguine peacefulness of how life might or could be if one decided.

Yours truly,
J.D. (Jim) Sapara.

Dear Master Khan

I've seen the website and I am impressed and I am looking forward to
reaching some long-desired goals by attending your class and inshaAllah
obtaining a black belt. I believe you are the only instructor in this area
who knows what he's talking about.

Sinccerely,
Mustafa Khalid Al-Sharrif
